Review: Caveman’s Detox Rolla Granola

Happy Wednesday everyone! I am back with a review this week and it is my favourite type of review; granola. If you know me, you will know I am a HUGE lover of granola, dried fruit and nuts. In fact, I love snacking on this type of food and I can’t go a day without it. However, I make sure that the choices I make are 100% natural and that the brands I buy from don’t include processed ingredients into their manufacturing process.

I have previously collaborated with Rolla Granola and I have sampled a fair few of their granolas. I don’t have one bad word to say about their brand, their ethos and their approach to producing deliciousness. They tick all of the boxes. Their flavour combinations are diverse, they cater to every individual and the packaging keeps your granola 100% fresh and crunchy.

“We created our granolas to provide you with an energy rich and flavour filled start to the day. All have high levels of nuts, seeds and fruit, all aim to provide fibre and natural oils, many of which are high in antioxidants and omega oils. Our aim is to break away from the mass-produced cheap food, to offer our customers granola with a high nut and fruit content, direct from the manufacturer.

Now we have a vast range of granolas on offer, we’ve adapted and changed our range to offer something for everyone! Now our range includes sugar-free, gluten-free and Paleo options as well. We’re always working on new flavours so stay tuned for loads more to come!” – Rolla Granola.

Caveman’s Detox Granola – (part of their paleo range)

This granola is Vegan, Cereal and Gluten Free.

Ingredient list:  whole apple, spinach, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, coconut, cashew nuts, brazil nuts, coconut oil, dates, pomegranate molasses, ginger, matcha tea (0.5%) and pink Himalayan salt.

Rolla Granola has launched an amazing ‘detox’ granola for the month of January to help you get back on track with fuelling your body in the correct way. Don’t let the word ‘detox’ frighten you! In fact, their granola is re-energising, packed full of nutrients and extremely tasty, you won’t be left feeling hungry and you’ll be ready to kick-start your day.

The amazing flavour really packs a punch: apple, spinach and walnut flavoured. Trust me, you can’t taste the spinach! The spinach is a sneaky way of adding hidden vegetables into your breakfast and evening snacks. This bag is packed full of natural sweetness, crunch and energy, I am so impressed!

This is also a good alternative to sugar laden cereals or processed snack bars; try a handful of this granola with a side of Greek yoghurt and berries and transform your afternoon snacks. Their granola is also suitable for children! *please be careful, this granola is slightly large and shouldn’t be given to children under the age of 5, chewing is essential for this deliciousness*. My little niece aged 6 absolutely loves this granola on its own with a cup of tea. This is a great way to encourage eating ‘well’ without the added pressure.

How amazing is this ingredient list! No ‘bad’ ingredients in sight. The matcha tea will provide an energy boost, the apple and dates add a touch of sweetness and the salt balances all of the components together. I couldn’t be happier. I can’t wait to eat the whole bag… But first, I have to finish this post…

If you like crunch, then this is for you! The perfect breakfast, afternoon pick-me-up or evening treat. No processed sugars. No unknown ingredients. 100% natural.

How do I eat my Rolla Granola?

  • Sprinkled on top of my smoothies.
  • Sprinkled on top of my oats (adds extra crunch and sweetness).
  • Rolla Granola, Greek yoghurt, chopped fruit and a green tea.
  • A zip lock bag with Rolla Granola granola, mixed dried fruits, nuts and seeds (this is my homemade trail mix, this is the perfect afternoon snack or an on-the-go energy boost).
  • On its own with a warming cup of tea! Remember to portion size, everything within moderation. A handful is always a good guideline. Listen to your body.
  • Rolla Granola and (almond milk/oat milk/coconut milk).
  • Sprinkled over my homemade brownies.
  • Sprinkled over a salad to add crunch, extra nutrients and ‘bulk’.
  • Rolla Granola is the perfect crumble topping! Mix the granola with extra oats, some coconut oil and some chia seeds and you have an instant yummy crumble topping.
  • Get creative with your granola creations!

This granola is an exclusive launch for January only! So be sure to grab yourself a bag before they all go = Caveman’s Detox Granola
