Style Your Way To Spain

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope the beginning of your week has been productive and positive, if it hasn’t it is your time to change it now – perhaps have a read of my previous post for some inspiration 4 Things I am Grateful For This Month.

Today’s post is all about my love for Spain and my ultimate holiday outfit!

I absolutely love the thought of travelling to somewhere new, somewhere rich in colour, wellness and relaxation. I couldn’t think of anywhere better in Spain than a yoga retreat in Ibiza or a luxury villa inspired by my love for tranquillity. Yoga is something I really want to try properly in the future! I love the sense of calmness you get from taking time out to stretch, breathe and relax and what better way to do it than to do it abroad with the surrounding nature, wildlife and the beauty of Ibiza.

In my opinion; taking ‘time out’ is crucial for wellbeing, inner happiness and to improve productivity and concentration levels. I am a keen traveller and I love exploring new places, trying need foods and taking beautiful imagery. Whenever I get the chance to travel abroad I grab the opportunity with both hands. Travelling broadens the mind, creates memories and allows you to step out of your comfort zone.

The next destination I want to visit is – St Joan de Labritja, Balearic Islands, Spain. The idyllic beaches, the gorgeous flowers that decorate every pathway and the beautiful blue sea that brushes against the white sands on the shore is something I am craving. This destination couldn’t be any more perfect for a relaxation getaway.

For something fun, I have selected my ultimate holiday outfit and a location I would love to be captured in. Like I said, I am a lover of colour, photography and wellness. This is what I have tried to express below.

• Dress: H&M • Necklace: New Look • Belt: Next • Scarf: Abroad •

My ultimate holiday outfit for Ibiza would be something cooling, colourful and laid back. When I am abroad I love to experiment with my fabric choices and the textures in my clothing. This lightweight chiffon dress is a great wardrobe staple for hot days and cooler evenings paired with a shawl. Lace intricate detailing decorates the hemline and the waistband of this dress; making connections to the beauty that surrounds Ibiza and the hidden gems you are destined to discover!

This outfit would be perfect for the hippie festivals which are a short drive away from this Clickstay Ibiza Villa . I chose this shawl in particular because it reminded me of the bougainvillea ornamental vines, that decorate every walkway in Ibiza and in particular, they decorate this villa’s terrace with such beauty and vibrancy.

This luxury villa couldn’t be any more ideal and I have selected it from the 2,500 villas from Clickstay – There is a lot to choose from and you will leave the website craving for a summer getaway. I recently did a blog post all about their website and how amazing their facilities are when searching for a holiday – be sure to check it out for more information.

I chose this villa for the backdrop of my photoshoot for many reasons, in particular, one of the reasons was because of the striking villa name that linked to my passion for yoga and serenity. – The name of this villa is Wu Wei this is the Chinese meaning for ‘non-doing’. Wu Wei is an important concept of *Taoism and means a natural action or an action that does not involve excessive effort. Wu Wei is the cultivation of a mental state in which our actions are quite effortlessly in alignment with the flow of life. This means that we do the right thing effortlessly and spontaneously, without trying.

*A Chinese philosophy based on the writings of Lao-tzu, advocating humility and religious piety.

The colours that surround this villa would make my chosen outfit pop with personality and the backdrop would be the perfect location for creating a reviving and inspiring image outcome. I would also love to capture some yoga poses using their picturesque terrace whilst hearing the murmur of the sea, smelling the Mediterranean scents that fill the air and hearing the palm trees wave in the breeze.

Don’t forget, this villa is the ideal destination for creating memories with your family, eating beautiful home-cooked food using the barbeque, using the villa’s tennis court for fitness or relaxing and recharging your batteries with a yoga session on one of the villa’s terraces. The location of this villa is also great if you are an explorer like me and love markets and authentic restaurants; both of which are nearby to this villa.

Doesn’t this all sound like a dream? Don’t worry, I have an exciting opportunity for you all! You can be in the chance of winning a £500 villa voucher (which could go towards this villa I have chosen above!) and a brand new suitcase from Samsonite! Both of which are brilliant prizes.
