My Thoughts – PACK’D Superfood Sachets

Hello, everyone! I am back with a mid-week blog post. This time, I am going to share my thoughts on the PACK’D Superfood Sachets. I kindly got sent a variety of their sachets to try in my smoothie bowls. The team at PACK’D are awesome and made me feel very happy when I received the little package. Thank you PACK’D!

“We believe that everyone has the power to achieve the unexpected. Every positive change has an impact. In the pursuit of your personal best food and drink can play a crucial step. Why settle? We founded PACK’D in 2014 because we were frustrated with sugar flavoured water pretending to be healthy and the hassle of making top quality homemade smoothies.” Luke and Alex – PACK’D Founders.

If you regularly view my Instagram and follow my blog you will know that I LOVE smoothie bowls. They fuel my workouts and help me feel energised throughout the day. Smoothie bowls are my favourite way to start the day and I am so so glad I invested in a Nutribullet when I did, it was worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. Smoothie bowls are the perfect breakfast, dessert or mid-afternoon snack. These little sachets of goodness add extra nutrients and vitamins to your smoothie bowl and enhance all the fruity flavours.

What do my smoothie bowls usually consist of?

They usually consist of one vegetable as a base, some frozen fruits for sweetness and some liquid to help blend all the mixture together. I add some super food powders to add a little boost and some oats for extra carbs before I work out. Adding a green vegetable into your smoothie bowls is an easy way to get the nutrients you need without the added texture and flavour, spinach and kale are my favourites! They blend really well.

Frozen fruits – frozen banana is a staple in my smoothie bowls, it adds a creamy texture and tastes amazing once frozen. Frozen berries and mango are also some of my favourites, they add extra sweetness and sometimes inject the smoothie bowl with funky colours! Toppings consist of – granola (homemade granola recipe linked), dried fruit, fresh fruit and seeds!

Supercharge your juice or smoothie with one of these powdered extracts…

– ENERGY –

This sachet I loved the most! It added extra sweetness and a caramel flavour to my smoothie bowls it also gave me more energy! This sachet provides a source of manganese, which contributes to normal energy release. The sachet includes – flax seed, maca, cacao and guarana.

– DEFENCE –

I had this on the days I was particularly stressed or tired. It gave me energy and settled my stomach before a workout. This sachet contains a source of copper, which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. The sachet includes – flax seed, pumpkin seed, sunflower seed and baobab.

– DETOX –

I had this on the days I felt sluggish and needed a quick pick-me-up. I also had this on the days I felt bloated, it helped a lot! This sachet provides a source of vitamin A, which contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and vision. The sachet includes – spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass and barley grass. The powder is green! But don’t be scared, it adds no nasty taste.

All three sachets are great and in my opinion, all provide a ‘boost’ of good slow releasing energy. Superfood powders are a natural way of adding extra nutrients and energy to your smoothies. PACK’D superfood sachets contain no nasty ingredients! The ‘ENERGY’ sachet was my favourite and would be the one I would re-purchase. I am addicted to anything chocolate flavoured!

I want to thank the team at PACK’D for sending me these sachets of pure goodness, they have allowed me to experiment with flavours and have boosted my workouts in the right direction.
