Positively Jessica – My Thoughts

Positively Jessica – My Thoughts & Positivity.

“Look for something positive in each day, even if some days you have to look a little harder.”

My main aim in life is to be filthy rich…

Filthy rich in adventure, in health, in knowledge, in laughter, in a family and in love.

I love writing positivity posts; I am extremely passionate about having a positive mind-set and striving for progression in every area. I believe that whatever you set your mind to, you can achieve.

Although my fitness and healthy eating is going well some obstacles come in the way and can potentially ruin my current mind-set, which impacts on everything else largely.

Sometimes I go in search for positivity and motivation and forget, that these things, are what we find within ourselves. Sometimes I go searching for happiness; I rely on people and material things to make ‘me’ happy. But the thing is, this is all good but true happiness is found within. The happiness is inside, the little things that make you, you, are the things that make us different and the things we should love and feel appreciative of.

Happiness is all around us; each one of us is so lucky, for different reasons. We are blessed as human beings to even have a chance ‘here’ whatever this place is that we live in/on. A complete world of chaos perhaps?

As I have previously said in a recent post although I promote positivity I sometimes struggle myself and I sometimes struggle to be happy even though beautiful things, including health, love and laughter surround me. I think sometimes we get knocked so much that we truly believe that there is no end.

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.”

A situation where somebody/something you love hurts you so hard you can’t imagine what will happen next, in fact, you’re scared for the next stage in this journey. You want to drop everything you have to be with this one person.. (Some of you may have been in this situation before) or perhaps you feel like you have to discard some people from your life in order to move forward. Sometimes I want to make people so happy and feel full of love that I neglect myself and fall behind. Both scenarios include feelings and people.

It is up to you how you handle it. Hard situations that cause a thousand tears and mental scars make us physically and mentally stronger. Although at the time we feel like breaking, once we become in a more positive state we realise the strength we have gained. This doesn’t mean that people who are perceived as ‘strong’ don’t have any feelings or never get upset. They have in fact been upset far too many times, which allows them to put a mental block on negative thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Time is our biggest enemy, time goes so fast. Every moment and second we spend worrying, crying or being upset is a moment taken away. Ask yourself this, is this truly worth it? For the sake of somebody else? (No.) Worrying, crying, being upset, letting people control you. Are all of these things going to get you closer to your goals and aims? (No.) What we have to focus on are the things that make us happy and help us get closer to our goals.

“How do you expect to stay rooted when the people you surround yourself with continue to poison your soil?”

Although sometimes progression feels so far away it is in fact, right in front of you. If you don’t have a pathway, create one, you’re that strong! You are in control of whatever you do and that’s the beautiful thing about human beings, we can create ‘change’. Small changes, big changes.

There will always be people out there that disagree with what you are doing. They will influence you and continue to fill your mind with negativity. A great way of concurring this is to delete these toxic people out of your life. Who needs added negativity in their life? Nobody does. So why allow it? Why surround yourself with it? Remember you have the power to change your current situation. So make a change.
