It is nice to be nice
This week is a different post, as I haven’t got any lovely pictures to show. It is more of a ramble…
I have been keeping on track of my health and fitness and I am feeling completely refreshed. Infact, the best I have ever felt. Challenges have hit me along the way but I am so glad I have changed my lifestyle for the better. I am feeling very happy and excited for new adventures and plans that are coming my way. Without the support from my friends, family and boyfriend I wouldn’t have the confidence I have today to strive for the best. Sometimes we underestimate our limits and ourselves. It’s always lovely to have people there who remind you of those assets you have.
I have always believed that surrounding yourself with people who motivate you, make you smile and bring positivity to your life are the ones to keep hold of. If you know one of these people they will help you strive for the best and they only want the best for you and nothing else. You must support them too. Sometimes I concentrate on making other people happy and motivated to strive for their dreams and forget about myself. I have now found the happy medium and I am excited to start new adventures and help my friends, family and boyfriend along the way, because without them I wouldn’t be happy.
It is definitely nice to be nice!
My new work placement is going to take a lot of my time up and I am extremely excited to be going down the field of creative writing. I am under a lot of pressure but I am very happy I am now stepping out of my comfort zone and routine to try something new which will challenge me. Sometimes being in a constant routine is hard. Some people like a routine and some people like change. Change can sometimes help you grow and it can become a lot more beneficial in the long run.
However, staying motivated along the way is hard. Relaxing is important. It helps you gather your thoughts together ready to start again tomorrow.
- Here is just one way that helps me stay motivated throughout the day –
Quotes and beautiful typography is something I cover my bedroom walls with at home! I also like to keep my phone and laptop wallpaper covered in motivational sayings. Funnily enough this keeps me motivated throughout the day. Even at the 3pm down fall when you need a sugary chocolate bar to get you through the rest of the day. I look at my quotes and sayings and it reminds me of the goal I am currently working towards.
I don’t really know what this post is about apart from I want to share some of my favourite quotes I currently have framed on my bedroom wall. Pinterest is a great app and website to go on to find inspiration in anything! Literally anything! I swear by this. It brings my inner artist, fashion designer and Nigella out of me!
My beautiful frame wall! It injects my bedroom with colour and inspiration. I have a mixture of images that are in the frames such as; quotes, artwork and special pictures are my favourite. I chose all of these frames from different places – mainly charity shops and customised them to my chosen colour palette.
This quote helps me with university work and finding inner motivation to get essays and tasks done!
I hope you all liked this style post! If you want to check out my Pinterest for inspiration it is – @jessicawardxxx – type this in the Pinterest toolbar under the title ”Pinners.”
