Simple Skincare | My Favourite Skincare Essentials

Here is my skin care essentials!

Whenever I have no plans my skin always seems to seem fresh and clear of blemishes and as soon as I have a week full of deadlines and busy plans my skin completely plays up. Here are my skin care essentials to tackle those awful skin days.

I have combination skin, which is a mixture between dry, oily and sensitive skin. I tend to keep to non-scented products, which are natural and kind to the skin. When I discovered Simple back in high school I fell in love with their products and have not looked back since. Whenever I use Simple Skincare my skin feels fresh and clean, with no irritation. The majority of their products include multi-vitamins and active ingredients, which work extremely well with my sensitive skin. Not forgetting all of their products are extremely affordable too!

All instructions on how to use these products appear on the back of the packaging or their are guidelines to follow on their website. All links will be at the bottom of this blog post as to where you can purchase these items. Enjoy!

The first on my list is..

1. Simple – Clear Skin Oil Balancing Exfoliating Wash.

When I first purchased this product I loved it! It reacted with my skin extremely well and helped smoothen out my whole complexion. Most recently I over-used this product and it began to dry my skin out and cause irritation around the nose and chin area (the areas which are most sensitive for me). I feel like a product like this would benefit your complexion from being used once or twice a week for maximum benefit and no irritation. After using this product I tend to moisturise a lot more.

Includes skin loving ingredients:

  • Witch Hazel – Helps reduce blemishes.
  • Zinc PCA – Gently absorbs excess oil.
  • One Vital Vitamin – Pro Vitamin B5, this actively restores, softens and smoothens
  • No artificial perfume or colour.

2. Simple – Kind to Skin Deep Cleansing Face Mask.

This product here I recently discovered when browsing their website. However, I have not tried this product. I am excited to delve deeper into this and try it out. Face masks I find extremely hard to find which help with my skin and don’t cause irritation. I will have to purchase this product and do a review on it shortly!

The ingredients:

  • Pro-Vitamin B5.
  • Vitamin E.
  • Bisabolol.
  • Natural Clay and Seaweed Extracts, this helps to gently cleanse and exfoliate helping to improve skin condition.
  • This helps clean out the dirt from your skin and remove any dead skin cells.

 3. Simple – Kind To Skin Smoothing Facial Scrub.

Wow! I love this product. It is my favourite skincare item. I use this facial scrub two to three times a week for maximum effect without causing to help prevent irritation. Due to the product being a scrub it recommends to only use it a few times a week due to its job of removing dead skin cells, keeping skin brighter and to create a more even complexion.

I love the whole blend of this product. It includes rice granules, which help break down the dead skin cells gently. After using this face scrub my skin feels so smooth and fresh, I never thought I would find a product as good as this at such a good price.

The Ingredients:

  • Vitamins – B5 and vitamin E.
  • Skin loving exfoliator – Rice granules.
  •  No artificial perfume or colour.

4. Simple – Kind to Skin Soothing Facial Toner

This product I like to use in the morning and in the evening before applying my moisturiser. It is extremely refreshing and hydrating for the skin. This toner completely removes all excess dirt off your face after cleansing. I love this product! Exactly what I have been looking for. I apply this product to some cotton wool and wipe across my face in gentle upward movements, I feel like it helps repair and refresh your skin morning and evening.

The Ingredients:

  • Pro vitamin B5 and B3
  • Skin loving ingredients: Chamomile, Witch Hazel and Allanton.
  • No artificial perfume or colour.

I hope you liked this type of blog post. I have been eager to share my favourite skin care products and what I do to help keep my skin hydrated and smooth.
